David E. Ruckle, M.D. is an Inland Empire native who grew up in Redlands, CA. He is a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Foot, Ankle, and Lower Extremity Surgery. Dr. Ruckle earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Pacific Union College and graduated at the top of his class with a 4.0 GPA. He then earned his M.D. at Loma Linda University School of Medicine where he graduated at the top of his class and was awarded the President’s Award. This was followed by Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Loma Linda University Health. He then moved to New York and completed fellowship training at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), the world’s perennial #1 in Orthopaedic Surgery.

 

Dr. Ruckle’s expertise is in foot and ankle reconstruction, lower extremity fracture management, and lower extremity joint replacement. His interests include minimally invasive treatment of bunions and other foot deformities, arthritis from the hip down to the toes, Achilles and other lower extremity tendinopathies/tendon ruptures, ankle cartilage injuries (osteochondral lesions), and sports injuries. While at HSS he gained an interest in cartilage repair and sports related injuries after participating in the care of elite and professional athletes while in New York.
